R-507 Main Application
R-507 is a widely used low-temperature refrigerant today. It is often used in cold storage, food freezing equipment, marine refrigeration equipment, industrial low-temperature refrigeration, commercial low-temperature refrigeration, refrigerated trucks, refrigeration condensing units, supermarket display cabinets and other refrigeration equipment.
R507, like R404A, is a long-term replacement for R502 and R22 refrigerants (HFC substances), but R507 can usually reach lower temperatures than R404A; R507 is suitable for all environments where R-502 can operate normally, and R507 is recognized and used by the vast majority of refrigeration equipment manufacturers around the world. However, since R507 is different from R502 and R22 in physical and chemical properties, theoretical cycle performance, and compressor oil, for after-sales maintenance of refrigeration equipment initially installed with R502 and R22 refrigerants, if refrigerants need to be added or replaced, only R502 and R22 can be added, and R507 cannot usually be used to directly replace R502 and R22 (that is, it is usually not possible to perform a blood transfusion replacement).
