R-407C Main Application

R-407C is a widely used medium and high temperature refrigerant today. It is mainly used in household air conditioners, small and medium-sized commercial air conditioners (small and medium-sized unit air conditioners, household central air conditioners, multi-split units), mobile air conditioners (car air conditioners, etc.), dehumidifiers, refrigerated dryers, marine refrigeration equipment, industrial refrigeration and other refrigeration equipment.

R407C refrigerant is the simplest choice to replace Freon R22 on newly installed refrigeration equipment (usually air conditioning systems); however, since R407C and R22 have different physical and chemical properties, theoretical cycle performance, and compressor oil, for after-sales maintenance of refrigeration equipment initially installed with R22 refrigerant, if it is necessary to add or replace the refrigerant, only R22 can be added, and R407C cannot usually be used to directly replace R22 (that is, a blood transfusion replacement is usually not possible; however, for refrigeration equipment initially installed with R22, R417A can be used to directly replace R22 during maintenance or replacement).
